Birthday Cards Responsibility includes preparing birthday cards for every student by writing their name, date and teacher to distribute to every student on their birthday from Mr. Fujita.
Book Fair - Barnes & Noble
Book Fair - Scholastic During both the Fall and Spring Parent/Teacher conferences Lukas sponsors a Scholastic Book Fair in the library. Volunteers are needed to help the librarian set up and take down the book displays.
Box Tops for Education This is primarily an at home activity. Box Tops are collected from the box in the school lobby, trimmed, sorted and grouped together and sent to the manufacturers' center for redemption. Box Tops earn the school cash.
Conference Dinners
Crossing Guard To help ensure the safety of all children, several parents volunteer as crossing guards at the exit of the school parking lot before and after school. Substitutes are also needed as the volunteers sometimes are unable to fill their shift. This is a duty which takes only 15-20 minutes a day.
